Reference Document

As I read the books I keep desiring to do something. I keep thinking that I would like to make a reference document with definitions of all the points described in CCs books. For instance, The Mold of Man would be point and as I read though the books I would type DJs teachings & CCs insights on that subject and do the same for all the other subjects as I go along. In this way, each subject would be contained as opposed to each being spread out over two or three books.

I hesitate to begin this task for the following reasons:
Its a BIG job and would take a long time.
Wouldnt it just be another distraction from actually doing or not-doing?
Maybe someone else has already done this.
ââ?¬Â¢ The cost verses reward ââ?¬â?? would it be worth it.
Why do it? Because I keep thinking about doing it.

Opinions & Comments anyone?

Do it if you feel like it. Personally, I think it would be pretty cool.

First, someone has done that. Where to find it i don’t know.

Here’s a worthwhile question for ya. Do you think that you know enough to know what is important and what is not? Took me a while to figure out what is going on in the Teachings of Don Juan. Do you know what is really going on in that book? Or do you still think it’s about taking drugs.

In answer to your question, BratscheWarrior, I would not be presumptuous enough to claim that ââ?¬Å?I really know whatââ?¬â?¢s going on in those booksââ?¬

The book is called the “Promise of Power” by Tomas and I think it’s out of print. I had it at one time and it’s a pretty extensive concordance. I remember using it and wondering to myself if it was all- inclusive, and conversely if it was not, how would I know that. Some things that were indexed were kind of marginal and open to interpretation on whether they went under that specific heading. It was a good book to have around, but if definetly made me procrastinate on taking action. Wish I could find another one.

Thanks for alerting me to that book, regicide. I was thinking more of a web based reference without comments or opinions except for the occasional note indicating something like, *this quote may or may not apply.

What does cleansing the Tonal mean to you, BratscheWarrior?

  8. BratscheWarrior dice:

No fair! i’m the one who is supposed to ask the questions! 😛

Simply put, cleansing the Tonal means to save energy. Wiping away all the unnecessary shit in our lives.

And call me Bratsche. It’s my ummmmm….first name….
