i've read a couple of carlos's books, and have browsed the internet on the topics, and i've heard talk of the world of inorganic beings. does anyone think its possible that we can make ourselves open for these beings to cross over to us. for example, by taking a heavy dose of salvia divinorum. in hindsight i get the feeling i shouldnt have put myself in such a position, but it was an oddexperience, and the above idea had crossed my mind.

What kind of position are you talking about, and what would you do with an inorganic being anyway?

I think that is a possibility. Even in the Carlos Castaneda books when he uses the little smoke, he sees allies which are inorganic beings. Or it could be possible that salvia divinorum moved your assemblage point to a point where interaction with inorganic beings is possible.

But then what would an inorganic being get out of such an interaction? Without any any energy to offer them it seems power plants are a kind of cheating? Do you think IB's feel altruism?

just because you dont have very much energy doesnt mean that an inorganic being couldnt use what little energy you do have

It seems there is a miscommunication here. It seems that the question is built upon the idea that a drug might provide some kind of energy boost, or allow you to slip into some dimension in order to be able to perceive an inorganic being. Carlos used the little smoke simply to break his perceptual limits. The inorganic beings are there regardless of whether one can see them or not. Certainly, I would agree that the "little smoke" allowed Carlos to perceive energy and the afore mentioned beings. But he was in the company of a group of sorcerers. In other words, he had a posse to assist him in seeing and also to protect him. If one is simply taking a hallucinogen by themselves and is confronted by an inorganic being, what protection do you have? Ultimately, a warrior does not need any substance, and the overuse of something will only succeed in draining energy... not gaining.

So I would agree with the original poster, that you put yourself in an unfavorable position.
