I've been meaning to watch the other two again sometime soon. They weren't too bad, it's just that I think I expected too much from them.

Here's some things I was hoping for, or that just disappointed me.

I thought Neo's power should have continued expanding, knowing as he did that he didn't have to follow the rules of the matrix, and he wouldn't have to continue physically fighting the agents. After all, at the end of the first Matrix he didn't have to touch Smith physically, he just dove straight into him and destroyed him from the inside. I assumed he would continue with this and refine it, use it more powerfully.

I would have really liked to have seen Neo training others to be more like him, such as for instance a Nagual might do.

Things were just kept too mundane. It's like the second two didn't continue the thread that the first one was following (in my opinion).

And then of course there was the scene where everyone was basically worshiping Neo. To much Christian allegory involved (IMO).

But all that is over and done. Perhaps new and better movies regarding these types of ideas will be presented eventually.
