    your internal dialogue…

a means you have created to describe the feeling of energy within your physical body. than you use different constructs to manifest these physical sensations into describable “feelings” we call emotions like awkward which is an emotional state…

if we stop to look at our physical feelings first we’ll notice they are just that… a feeling… a MOTION, not yet an EMOTION…. and we can catch that feeling, so to speak “hook-onto” it and transform it into whatever our mind desires.

In other words.. we can take that little voice in your head and make it sound incorrigibly inaccurate… (in your example… make that voice that gave you the impression that you were IN an awkward emotional state have less credibilty)
and before you address a word or feeling to the actual physical sensation that you truly are having…
because if you stop, you can see how it moves and correct the flow of energy…
most times it starts from the stomach or between the pubic bone and the navel… and moves in various directions.. what we aren’t aware of, is the fact that we can control that flow of energy and name it whatever we please to get whatever we please accomplished.

Its one thing to silence the internal dialogue,
but what do you want to do with it the rest of the time?…
I would rather make proper use of it to accomplish much greater feats when my internal dialogue takes the passenger seat.

I highly recommend anyone interested in this at all to google NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)

What I did leave out of the above is the techniques for replacing those bad cycles and constructs…

But I did that on purpose so you can research NLP yourself, use the tool you are using to access this site for more than your leisure, get your shine on.
Richard Bandler and Ross Jeffries are two good places to start on GOOGLE.VIDEO …
