Online Teachers, or Business Men?

After looking around on the internet for a toltec teacher that i could possibly email to ask one question, it quickly occured to me that all of the online “masters” charge you for any type of contact, and if you can contact them, its to set up some sort of class where you have to pay money. Personally, I wouldnt trust them. What are your thoughts on this matter?

Somethings have no price, the important things have a price of duty to the life , no a price in coins.

The phenomenon you mention, inspired me to write some notes 7 years ago:

I’m not sure that (for the most part) anyone who calls themselves a “toltec teacher” would be trustworthy in the first place. I would imagine that a place like this message board, or others that are out there may be your best option… outside of going to a Cleargreen sponsored Tensegrity workshop. But then again those cost money. I personally don’t have a problem with that, some do.

Does anybody know of any other good forums or discussion boards to go to?

Personally I get irritated when I hear people get all pissy about having to actually cough up a little money. What do they expect? Ok, so the internet is free..but not really if you think about it. Do people think that Naguals live off of a diet of air or something. Anyway, I came across this site and it explains the lenths that some people go do find a teacher. Seems that enlightned people don’t give a damn about one’s precious search. Does it really even matter..?

I See what you are getting at regicide, but $50 a month for access to a forum seems like a little much to me. I can understand the steep price for retreats though.

I agree with ya regicide. We all gotta earn a living. For the Cleargreen sponsored events, think about their expenses like renting the place to have the seminar.

The guru’s are parasites preying on the weak. Nothing wrong with that though. It happens all the time in nature. The weak are preyed upon. A warrior may pay money to someone for infomation but takes responsibility for that & does not moan about the cost. The goal is to be totally self-sufficient. X
