Recap
for the last 2 weeks I have been doing recap every night, all the evens that day (+some forgotten from previous) and then random selected ones that come up, when that day recap is done total from 25 min to 1 h (+10-20 min of mediation (to reach inner silence)) and know I feel like I've never felt that good in my life, my energy level is rising all the time, and art of stalking has never been that good, inner dialogue is much easier to cut down and "hard to get smile off my face" Big Grin

I more thing that I have not seen anywhere, what about recapping all the things you’ve watched on TV? It’s is a release of energy does that count?

And one more thing (though offtopic)
Anyone know about Reiki? (energetic healing with hands)

Recap
Once while reading a post on Sustained Action I came across a person who in trying to prove to himself if recapitulating worked, obsessively recaped everything he could think of, including name brands and logos. He came to the conclusion that it was ineffective based of the quanity of things he recaped, never mind technique Huh . Now, looking back I don't see any reason why energy wouldn't be locked up in symbols, after all, subjectly, at this level of awarness everything is a symbol to us. right?

I'm not sure what you mean by saying that he recapped everything including logos. Did he claim to have no result at all, or did he fail to find time to remember all the little things?

Recap
to see a result when you're talking about small bits of extra energy ?
it would be hard to notice the diference, just eating something not very healthy for breakfest means a big drop in energy, so any evaluation would seem objective in long term observation. One thing that would make a diferesnce is attitute towards things, if u dan;t care, u don't invest your energy, if u have an emotion u loose it.
much of my energy boost came from healing my body and energy body with energetic healing - reiki, and i can do the same for other people. it sounds like when CC in his books bentioned, "patching up energy body"

Recap
He was trying to "stop the world" thru recapitulating. I don't think, based on his words, that he went into the recapitulation with the right mind set. He was looking for immediate results and instead of taking his time, just analyzed everything. Otherwise, in my opinion, he would have had some sort of benifitual result...something. In the end he was just scoffing at the concept. I think recaping anything, catagorically speaking, has equal results in terms of energy. People go thru alot of trouble to put together logos and commercials, intending to make us feel inadaquete

He was not intending to recapitulate. He was intending to prove something.

...was it worth it?... Did he earn a medal? "Scene points"?

Recapitulation requires the gut knowledge of "why am I doing this" and it's not for people with a short attention span. Just like most things on the warrior's way. I think warrior's way itself is more important than any separate technique or method you can name, and you can't take "recapitulation" out of it and think of it as a particle of the ordinary social world and "prove" if it "works".

Works for what?

I think it works very well for the purpose it was intended to work for.

The knave must have been seeking for something else.

First time using the "quote" tab.

I agree. The only time that I felt results using the recap were when I went into the session fed up with my self and bent on seeing me for whoever or whatever I was. The problem I have is that after I make that gain and have the "revelation" or whatever you could call it I become comfortable with my self once again. It's so ironic, the most fullfilling session I had was the first time I tried it. All the scenes had a common thread and I felt a powerfull message coming thru, it was amazing and it turned what I thought about how I related to this person (my mother) on end. I saw that I was nothing more that an overgrown boy who blamed his parents for everything. blah blah. I know these things are nothing special and commonplace for a person who recaps, that's the point, duh. But still I haven't been able to duplicate the power of my first session. I think it kinda scared me.

Recap
recapitulation isn't a hard technique or wishy washy at all..

its looking on your past with openness and looking at it for exactly what it is.... an interaction... one that could have gone many ways...

the idea of recap .. is to look at all the possible possibilities that you can think of for each scenario you've previously experienced.... its more than that.. but that helps to start.
