I feel that it is necessary to step outside the teachings from time to time in order to get our bearings and remember that this path is only one of an infinite amount of perspectives. Remember that CC's books are a chronicle of ONE mans quest for knowledge; his battles, his predilections, his shields. Don Juan, under the unction of the abstract molded his approach to fit CC. I believe in these books there is a blue print that we can all follow but ULTIMITLY it is the Spirit that leads us down our own path.
