I read the book "Don Juan and the Art of Sexual Energy" a while ago, and while the book sucked, I liked the term she used. She called it "bridging", bridging the dream. And when you intentially bridge something, she goes on to say, it becomes and act of power, and with practice you bridge entire dreams into waking life. It sounds alot like the Death Defier and Carlos, when she intended the whole villiage, or when he intended her and Carol at the end.
A comment about time, Although I have a hard time (ha ha) grasping Quantum Machanics, the one thing I do get is how it explaines time, and it's funny because it maches what Don Juan alludes to when he talked about how time moves a different speed for Inorganic Beings. And all it is, is that time is relative, and only seems fast or slow from the perspective of the observer, or to put it another way, whether your in a world that is fast or slow, subjectly it would be percieved as normal. So time is just the rate that things move, and speed is the rate that things move in relation to each other.
