If people see lucid dreaming as the same as OBEs, they've con-fused them.
Con-fuse means to fuse together, to make them seem the same.
So who would want to know what these confused people think about dreaming?
By "who", I mean what could be the intent of such a one wanting to know this.
The intent is to set them straight; to have them think correctly. But this is impossible. You can't think correctly; you can only see correctly.
There's no use talking about what people think, except to establish oneself as a superior thinker.
The only thing worth talking about, IMO, is the actual world. Nothing gets con-fused in the actual world. There are no confused actions. Thinking can misrepresent reality; actions can't.
So, IMO, the fact that some people THINK that lucid dreaming and OBEs are the same isn't worth discussing. I can solve this real quick: stop thinking!
There is no right way to think about dreaming. Thinking will never touch actual dreaming.
So was there something you wanted to say about dreaming, or did you just want to talk about what people think and offer other ways of thinking?
Personally, I'm not interested in what anyone has to say about lucid dreaming and OBEs being the same thing, because nothing anyone can say will alter my actual experience of lucid dreaming and OBEs. And if you haven't experienced it, I'm not interested in what you think about it. What value are such thoughts/speculations?
Could this be why no one has responded? Or maybe they don't want to volunteer themselves as "Faithful board members"...
I'm not full of faith, but I responded anyway.
Are you actually adressing your post towards people who think/speculate and are full of faith? Are these the people you wish to converse with? Or are you being loose/lazy with words? Or am I being too tight? Can a warrior be too tight? More speculation... no warrior would ever wonder what a warrior is like.
Are you familiar with the experiment of rubbing a glass rod with a silk handkerchief (sp?)? You might look into the silica content of your testicles.
