Here's another point of view: I think you have it back to front. All beings are douchebags. In the case of that interview, I think the difference is that the Chacmools know they are douchebags, accept it and direct their energy toward practicing Tensegrity. I don't think the interviewers know it, they're too worried about saving humanity or whatever.
