Fighting the- er... bad fight.
#4

I agree bratsche. The warriors path can at times be very uncomfortable and something deep inside us craves for order and normality. The systematic breaking of routines and habits is what is required I think. That way there can be no normality to seek shelter in. We can start acting on what we feel is the right course of action in any given situation. There is no right or wrong anyway, just lessons to be learned.

Yeah, it can be uncomfortable. Sometimes it has felt like a burden. A burden of impeccability. How many times has anyone here wanted someone or something so badly that they were willing to forgo impeccability? This "burden" has had me go into crisis mode a number of times. In some of these situations, now that i can look at it in hindsight, i see that i made the best choice. Following what you know HAS TO BE the correct solution rather than following your own selfishness.

Breaking the routine of selfishness, and focusing on others is where it's at. Tough to do it is.

The last few days have been incredibly disturbing. i am developing a strong dislike for the average man. Observing my fellow men over the last few years has led me to a conclusion that is rather unkind toward them. But i can't leave. Not yet.

A Don Juan Matus quote (not sure if the words are all right): "The Nagual is not always as comfortable, but it is infinitely more spacious."
