    Ofcorpse.

Some have been taught in the seminars. With other kinds of tools, too.

Placing a weight upon different spots in the body has been applied on several occasions, and the balls (or thumbs/fingers) have been used in other forms than those that appear in the book.

There are probably some documents (some people’s notes) lying around in the internet chaos, but the best way to learn the stuff is probably through someone who has learnt them at a seminar, or by attending them yourself.

Here is where the value of practice groups is evident. The perpetuation of knowledge through passing it onwards via practice. (The difference of “showing” and “telling by words” communicative methods.)

Someone else could add a bit more detail, perhaps?

Well i’ve been reading about use of a dowel to induce inner silence. What does this tool look like? And how can it be constructed?

Are you talking about the one used for dreaming?

I’ve heard or read many times about the technique of using a dowel with a peice of cloth wrapped around one end for cushioning, and long enough to rest your forehead comfortably on while in a sitting position.

But unfortunately I haven’t yet tried this technique.

Is this what you’re talking about, or is there a different technique for reaching inner silence?
